Satyamev Jayate is an Indian TV talk show. The show premiered on May 6, 2012 and marked the television debut of Indian Bollywood actor and filmmaker Aamir Khan. Satyamev Jayate also dubbed and simulcast in other Indian languages such as Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
The first episode of the first season was based on female foeticide in India and the show urged the Government of Rajasthan to take action against the people who were shown in the programme through sting operation and also to take actions to stop illegal practice of female foeticide. Child sexual abuse in India was the theme of its second episode in the season. Dowry- The impact and effects of "dowry system in India" was the theme of its third episode in the season. Medical malpractice - The medical negligence and malpractice which is prevalent in the current India is the theme of its Fourth episode.
